For Halloween, we got a treat bag, cookie, and punch.  All had choices for diabetic and non.  Generally, there is a no eat or drink policy, with the exception of a couple of diabetics that need a light snack during their time on the machine.

 ??? I don't get it. I'v been on D for a bit now (13 jr second go :beer1;},and any clinic in Portugal, Netherlands, Uk I go to we get tea twice, butties, bikkies. Wow must be lucky. On the other hand as fas as I know its better to eat during D cos of los of protein I thought. I'll go looking for that site someone mentioned. lol

1998 lost dads kidney, start PD
2003 peritineum burst, back to hemo
2012 start Nxstage home hemo
2020 start Gambro AK96

       still on waitinglist, still ok I think

I can't eat on the machine anymore it makes me sick so I don't other then water or something small.
We got popsickles once when it got really hot out this summer.

May 13, 2009, went to urgent care with shortness of breath
May 19, 2009, went to doctor for severe nausea
May 20, 2009, admited to hospital for kidney failure
May 20, 2009, started dialysis with a groin cath
May 25, 2009, permacath was placed
august 24, 2009, was suppose to have access placement but instead was admited to hospital for low potassium
august 25, 2009, access placement
January 16, 2010 thrombectomy was done on access
