There's an app for that

Does anyone use a smart phone app to keep track / remind them to take meds? I know there are several such reminder apps available. Which do people like? It's easy for me now since my meds are twice/day with consistent doses, but things change (and I just got my first smart phone so of course I must try every app available) and I'd like to start playing with them.

I use my cell phone for three alarms daily to remind me to take my meds - 7:30am, noon and 7:30pm.  Works like a charm for me, although my children are very annoyed by the alarm tones I have chosen!  I had a couple of scares when I first got out of the hospital after my transplant as I fell asleep before 7:30pm a couple of times and didn't get to take the anti-rejection meds until 2am when I awoke to go pee

Neat. I only have one alarm setting on my phone, which kinda ticks me off, cuz my mom has has an older, less expensive phone that doesn't have the bells and whistles that my blackberry has, and she has 3 alarm settings.

I like the idea of a text saying "take <enter medication name here> now"
