My daughter called me today to wish me a happy fathers day. During our normal conversation I told her about me getting ready to start dialysis.
The first thing she said was ”Where can I get tested to see if I’m a match?”
The offer of a kidney is the best fathers day I have EVER had!!!!

Hmm, I think I have something in my eye.

Darn it!  I seem to have something in my eye too!   What a sweet daughter you have raised!   The simple act of offering is emotionally overwhelming.  It gives you hope.  Let her know that we think she is great and we should all be so lucky to have a daughter like that.   And Happy Father's day to you!
