We would like to welcome "jbeany" to the IHD admin team. She has proven to be a compassionate and trustworthy member of the site, and will be a fine moderator!  :bow;

What is the role of a moderator, you may ask? It is someone who is a member of the administration team. A "mod" has the power to Lock, Edit, and Move posts. A mod also welcomes new members and keeps an eye on the site when the admins are not around. A mod is also a person you can turn to if you are having problems with another member or if you have questions about the site.

Our site is growing and at the current rate we are on track to have 6000+ members by the end of June, so help running the site is much appreciated. As the site continues to grow we will need more moderators, so if you are interested in becoming a mod stay loyal, post alot, reply to questions from members, welcome new members, and follow the guidelines of the site. Then, when the time comes, we just may call on YOU.

She's been a member since 2006, has experience in home hemo and K/P transplant, and is knowledgeable about all aspects of kidney disease. Please welcome "jbeany" in her new title as "Mod". If you have any questions you may PM her directly or post a message here.

 :clap; :clap; :clap;

Thank you for taking on the task of moderator, jbeany.

I remember well when you were on D, waiting, then your transplant came along,
and when there were some serious transplant-hiccups, we all kept our fingers crossed.

You also sorted out everything about your grandmother and now you study.
I always look forward to your posts because you had quite a lot on your plate,
but you always look forward to the future and, I am sure everyone agrees with me,
your attitude is very encouraging to others whilst they struggle.

Best wishes from Kristina.

Thanks everyone!  I've got a whole bunch of stuff to figure out in order to pull my weight on the team, but I'll get there soon.  Bear with my learning curve and hopefully it won't take me too long to figure out!
