Going in for a hernia operation tomorrow.  Due to being on PD i also will need a chest cath for 6-8 weeks.  The plan was to do both procedures while im under.  Now they say hernia operation at 9AM  then at 1pm they will do the chest cath?  No reason given as to why?

Im guessing they like private insurance but im sure they have a better reason......

Good luck with both procedures today.  You will probably still be groggy and have pain meds going through you at 1pm, so the chest cath will probably just be an inconvenience for you.  I was awake for my chest cath, glad to have it gone...
