Oh, wine tasting, dates, fab family parties....all kinds of good things!

I got a goodie package in the mail from a friend.  She figured I was shopping deprived, being stuck at home, so she sent me a fab green purse and hand lotion and chocolate covered caramel corn.

This may seem silly, but I see it as an accomplishment..

I repossessed my brother's cellphone, because he owed me money on the bill.  Since I can't cancel the account, I decided to give it to my mom.  Today, after several attempts, I got my mom's facebook account to work on the phone.. *G*

Riki the beach babe, I'd call that an acomplishment. You took charge of a situation that probably would only get worse (your brothers debts) with you suffering, and hopefully have turned that into a better situation for you and your mom.

I got a letter from the Assistant Disciplinary Counsel of the State Bar of (can't say) agreeing that there is validity to my complaint against my mom's estate attorney, and they are going ahead with their investigation.  It's one thing to try to cheat me, but I bet there are lots of other vulnerable people out there who he has tried to take advantage of, and I couldn't let that happen.  I thought long and hard before lodging a formal complaint because I certainly don't want to endanger anyone's livelihood and reputation, so I was relieved that the Disciplinary Counsel agreed that, based upon the evidence I submitted, there is indeed cause for further investigation.

Life is difficult enough without having people you trusted betray you.  So, this was the high point of my day! :2thumbsup;

Took pup to his first vet and had no problems with him making a mess, with other dogs, shots, nails, and fecal swab. That was so surprising. He just didn't like the kennel cough vaccination through the nose and his butt being sprayed with cleaner. Now we can set him up for puppy school.

Unfortunately my dad wants o get him fixed after all instead of using him for stud service.

A friend offered to give me an airconditioner because it's 99 degrees here in Chicago & she's worried about me.

Stage 5, pre-peritoneal dialysis, on transplant list for a year and a half.  Worrying a lot.  I see many suggestions on this website and am glad that it exists.  It is not often I talk about this ailment with anybody, but it is a lot to deal with.  I try to live normally, but it is getting harder and will probably get harder still once the dialysis starts.

I hope you took up the offer moonbear. It was saying 102 to 103 south of Chicago in the burbs. I hate the humidity part!

Went and saw Horrible Bosses tonight. That was the highlight of the day compared to doctor visit and now feeling sick from the food I ate.

I had my last day at work!  Huzzah!

Although it was twinged with sadness (it's a redundancy) I did get PRESENTS! I now feel more loved than I did this morning when I thought nobody at work cared about me.

Went to another movie today (finally used free tickets I have had for 2 years), but movie wasn't that great and snacks at this place came to $26 for a medium popcorn, 2 ICEE's, a milk dud's box, and a skittles box (no not all formyself).Going out with friends can be a pain in he ass with cost!

Also got permanent crown put in today, in n early and out 46 min later with no pain.

Cadel Evans won Le Tour de France!!! First time for an aussie in over 100 years. Twice the bridesmaid (2nd) and now finally wins it!!!  :ausflag; :ausflag; :ausflag; :ausflag; :ausflag; :ausflag; :ausflag;  :yahoo;

The part that affected me personally was the money I won from betting on him to win last week into my team to lose by over 46.5 points (they lost by 62) for a payout around $4. Sweet!  :2thumbsup;

(yes I feel bad betting against my own team like that, but there's love of one's team, and then there's betting for money!!!).

Don't worry - karma got me back when I lost most of my winnings at Ascot & Pontefract in the UK while watching the Tour - so that'll teach me!  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;)
