I feel so down this evening.
When my husband died I was so depressed and then when I got
my little grandson and life started getting better I find out I have
kidney failure.  I remember one day thinking if I ever got excited
about living again I'd probably find out I was dying.  Today I told
a friend who I've had a couple lunch dates with whose wife died
last Jan. that I have serious health problems.  didn't go into detail yet.
I don't want a serious relationship but it is sad that it's not even an
option.  I barely stayed out of the hospital with the toe infection
and tonight I think my heel looks infected.  I am thinking tonight
is there going to be anything to look forward to?  I have stayed undeprressed
since I started dialysis but tonight I am just so sad.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time.   :cuddle; Please keep in mind that much of what is diagnosed as "depression" has a physical cause.  If it lasts more than a day or two, get your health care team involved and become a detective and find out what's going on.    :grouphug; :grouphug; :grouphug;

I'm sure the heal just tipped you over the edge.  Just go see a doctor and get it looked at.  You'll feel better soon.

Yes, Ohio Buckeye, there is something to look forward to, the Ohio State vs. Florida game tonight!  Please hang in there!  If you're like me, I just hate January.  The holidays are over and January in Utah is gloomy, snowy and depressing.  I always just think if I can make it to Valentines Day, it will be okay.

Black is right, if it lasts more than a few days or you think it's worse than just the January blues, get your doctor involved in case it may be more than just the winter blahs.

I'll be praying for you, hope everything gets better.   :grouphug;
