Does any one else have the same sensation when they first walk into a new doctor's office and feel if he/she id=s gping to be OK. Had that experience with the surgeon who treated my fistula,. I call him Sunny Jim because it sounds like his name and everything is always hunky dory. Made a nasty scar on the first operation and bitched it so bad, had to have another operation. Not too bad for male institution, I say.

There's an old Jewish saying, advice to single women:

"Don't marry a man hoping you can change him."

And similar advice applies here:

"Don't choose a doctor hoping you can change him."

Choose??  I've never chosen a doctor.  I think I've just been assigned to them.

My GP is a moron and my Neph is a dick, so I just watch my behind and hope for the best.

Scroll to the beginning of the thread.
Click on the subject line immediately adjacent to that text box (right above.)
Does that help?
I love that you want to learn.  ;)
