My report
«
on:
August 02, 2010, 11:19:10 AM »
Hi all!
It's been almost 3 weeks since I joined the D club. Apparently I cope with D very good as I'm not tired at all.
Here you can see pictures prior joining the D club and post.
Notes:
1. Picture taken 6 days prior D. Me riding bike at the coast. At the back you can see fields of salt
2. Picture of me and my ex in the mountains 3 days prior D.
3. My very first session.
4. Me and my niece at the sea side. She holds Lollipop (my gift to her:)). Picture was taken 3 days ago.
5. Me with my bike in the mountains. My very first ike ride since D. Picture was taken today.
Yes, I can tell you, I am good person and my ex has a big loss.
Another question: why are so many D patients yellow?

Outstanding!!! I love to see people on D being able to just get on with life. Well done!
Listen, try not to expend any more energy thinking about your ex. D has given you a new lease on life, so from now on, don't look back, only look forward.

In many cases, the yellow or sometimes grayish look is from being underdialyized.

you're a stronger man that I'd be.. *LOL*
No numbing? I swear by emla cream. it makes it easier for the nurses to find the vessel, because you're not flinching with the needle going in. They wouldn't put two needles in so early with me. They put one needle in, used at the artery, and this was done twice, then the one needle was used as the vein. Then the 2 needles were tried, after it had been used 6 times. From there it was smooth sailing for me. I've been using my fistula since March, and it's still developing. I expect that soon, I'll have more than just the 2 needling sites.

Yes, your ex is foolish. I wouldn't doubt she may change her mind when she sees you getting on normally, especially now that you are off the cath.

Glad to see your attitude so positive and strong. I never used numbing either and you look like an excellent candidate for doing your own needles...no going back if you can get your head around this possibility.
I loved seeing all your pics and although I'm sorry that your ex wasn't able to stay the course, I hope that you'll get past that and continue to live your life as interestingly as possible.

So glad you lost your virginity without pain! I don't use any numbing stuff either. First time a local, nothing since then. It's really not that bad.
