im bored im in the hospital, they do not know whats wrong with me.
They told me "I think u have infection"...pertonis or whaterever
but my bags are clear and labs came back fine.... so i have this over extended belly, pain, and they dont know why. I might have a hernia, but that shouldnt cause the swelling all over the place. And i couldnt fill myself with pd fluid (the reason i came to ED in the first place) they squeezed pushed prodded until they filled me....
 Also my fistula is now hurting.... swollen very sore. havent used it in like a month.

Ouch.. hope they figure it out soon and get to the bottom of it. peritonitis can be miserable, maybe you caught it early. Hope you are back on your feet in no time.  :grouphug;

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems.  I know how unnerving it can be when the physicians are baffled as to what's wrong.

Please keep us posted as to your progress.

I had two angioplasties done on my fistula, they said that they did the ebst they could. I had a 99% blockage in part of it. It hurt so bad! I was in twilight supposedly but i felt it all!
They put my on vanco just to be sure, even though the tests said i do not infact have an infection!!! WOOT Go me!

fistula ... dies?  brrrr!
I found this comment from awhile back http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=5164.msg316973#msg316973
Quote
I couldn't hear or feel mine. The surgeon put gel on my arm and used an ultrasound thing to listen to it. He said I wouldn't hear or feel it because it was so deep. Below my fistula, my arm was week and cold. So I knew the blood was being diverted. It clotted off a week later, my strength and warmth came back.

maybe, clotted off, or other kinds of finishing (dead???) is the same, you end up with the blood, strength and warmth back for the rest of your arm?
