This week's "House" - the mom refused surgery for her child with the line, "I'm the mom; you're the doctor.  I outrank you.  Deal with it!"

It's a show about the crabby, genius doc who's never wrong, so of course the kid needed the surgery, but I really need to remember that attitude with my own doctors!

Everybody repeat after me. .
"I'm the patient.  You're the doctor.  I outrank you!"

"I'm the patient.  You're the doctor.  I outrank you!"

From the movie Tombstone:   " You tell them Hell is coming! You tell them I am coming!"
I love that line!

And see the quote from Babylon 5 on the signature line below!

I love the Babylon 5 quote.  I smile every time I read it.  I think the line from Tombstone was, "You tell them I'm coming and Hell's coming with me."  It's my husband's favorite movie.  It was the first time he saw Val Kilmer and now he has to see every role he plays.

The head of nephrology at my hospital reminded me of House, when he came on the rounds with the students, he gave them so much shit, i was actually embarassed for them , but hey the way he was looking at it at the time, they shouldnt have known the answer. So give it to em I say  ;D
