Returned home to the UK last weekend after a two week break to Las Vegas. I organized my hemo dialysis through Red Moon Dialysis at a cost of $300 a session, I saved some cash by taking my own meds and EPO the clinic is on Main St a few hundred metres down from the Stratosphere.
This was the first time I have dialyzed away from home and to be honest I was rather scared things would go wrong but it could not have gone better.
The unit was very professional, the staff friendly and knowledable the nephthrologist who also owned the clinic welcomed me, sat and chatted about soccer and even gave me a lift back to my hotel.
This was my ninth visit to Vegas but the first whilst dialysising and the first with no alcohol but it was still a great trip and would recommend it to anyone who is chained to that bloody machine.
