Please help me I have an ich I cant reach, really because my urea is high
I have tried rubbing Bear grease, lotions, etc seem to help only for 1/2 hour any miricale
cream to use? email - meatwolf.shaman@yahoo.com

This may be a bit obvious of an answer but try benadryl. I could not live without this stuff some nights! Hope you find a relief soon! :thumbup;

It sounds like your phosphate is high as this causes the itching. If thats the case you need to start taking binders (see your neph) You take them with meals .

I've got relief by stripping naked and laying on top of my bed with the air con on cooling. Works OK for me for what I call 'phosphate itch'.

Antihistamines like Benadryl have not proven to be as effective against renal itching as they are against the itching of allergies.

What has proven to be quite effective against renal itching is UV-B (ultraviolet B) light.  You might see a dermatologist and ask about taking 6 to 12 UV-B treatments.  (Of course, discuss it with your neph first.)

UV light? Sounds effective against prevention of skin cancer.

Try Curel ant-itch cream. I used it when my Phos was 7.2 The cream helped and I never forget to take my binders.
