     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

How big is a 1/2 lb of chocolate?  A candy store in Bellaire sent me a card for a free 1/2 pound  box of chocolate during the month of my birthday  (now).  Is it worth the effort (good chocolate).

Watching travel Channel again and they are showing sandwich shops across the country again. I gotta go to Tony's Restaurant in Birch Run, MI for their BLT. Everything they have is pretty much HUGE!

Picture doesn't show a size comparison, but it's about the size of a head. 20 something strips of Bacon.

Tony's Birch Run Mi is 20 min from me! BLT's have 1 lb. of bacon! every serving is huge and you can take a friend and pay $1.00 for an extra plate. Order a banana split and you better take 4 friends! It's not gourmet or fancy and chances are you'll have to stand in line. If you can still move after you eat you can go shopping at the Outlet Mall across the street

I have to look to see how far it is from Chicago. I'd definitely go there. Their turkey club and ruben looked very good too. I'd need a dogggie bag for sure though. Never had chilli cheese fries, but that's something of  an over kill if I have the BLT  :rofl; :rofl;

They do not use regular bread. It is all fresh baked and sliced very thick. with enough meat for 5 sandwiches! Chili cheese fries are a lb of fries covered in chili and cheese.

Dan, with your heat, you better bring a cooler with ice packs. One it will keep it from melting and 2 will keep you out of it do to to much trouble trying to open it on the way home. Otherwise, it won't make it home especially if it is really good!

Ok, I'm going then...  Even though it is expensive candy, I would have gone for five snicker bars.  Of course we all know I'll but other stuff while I'm in there.  Their Pecan Brittle is as close to heaven as I'll get.  Bought 3 big boxes last Christmas to give away to neighbors and I didn't give away a single one.  Can somebody say diabetic?

Can't say I ever tried peanut brittle. I've heard of it and seen it, just never tried it.

They do have sugar free peanut brittle though, but it it is like the sugar free fudge, then  :puke;

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.

7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
