Hello folks,
It's been along time since I've been here. Well I have a new question. Well, its new too me.I normally loose weight during the summer. It usually comes back during November and December. In 2009 around this time, I began to have a problem with my fluid intake and shortness of breath.Sometimes it got so bad I couldn't move. Now whats crazy is near the end of June I stopped having the problem. This is also when I began to loose my winter weight. Now this year after my weight gain I'm beginning to have the same problem. (I gain weight mostly in my stomach) Can anyone tell me if weight gain cancause problems with fluid intake and shortness of breath?

Are you adjusting your dry weight to account for the seasonal weight changes?  If you are gaining or losing real weight, but not adjusting the dry weight numbers, then you are going to have issues with fluid overload when you are at you lowest weight.

Last year I did tell them to adjust for my weight. I still had the breathing problems. I'm not sure but I think adjusting my dry weight may have contributed to my problem. During that period mentioned above ...it took less fluid intake to cause a problem. Before the shortness of breath problems started... I(not intentionally) could put on 10 k of fluid with no problem. Later I began having problems breathing with only a 5k gain.6 or 7k and I couldn't move. I guess I'll have to loose this weight on purpose and earlier than normal.
