Pot-Luck, oh crap. I have to cook?
:rofl; LOL No no, didn't mean to scare you off Kit!
Maybe if you get your request in early you can probably bring something needed, but store bought. (My brother always manages to volunteer for cups, plates and napkins -- hasn't cooked in 20 years.)
What do you think you'll need Jean?

What a wonderful time you all will have.  Wish I could come but Georgia is just a touch too far.   Hope you all have a ball.

I'd like to come, but to soon to plan recovery wise. However Southwest has been sending me deals to fly out west for $49 one way. What is Riverside's nearest airport?

I could atleast start to plan something and finalize it in May after a few weeks post surgery.

Ontario is the closest airport, but if you chose to fly into Burbank I could give you a ride.

So sorry cdbrooklyn. Guess I did not mention that. We would just love to have you, but you have to bring me a New York Pizza, ( Just kidding) Riverside is about 60 miles inland from Los Angeles. The closest airport would be Ontario ( ONT). If you need a ride from the airport, it can be arranged. Also, there is a new hotel going up practically across the street from us. I cant think of the name of it offhand, but will check it out if you would like me to.

Wow, LA.  I've never been to Los Angeles before.   I will love to fly there in June.  Jean, can you find out about the hotel for me.   Also, if New York airport wasn't so strict, I will bring a dozen New York pizza pies.  However, it will not make it pass security at the airport.   So the date is June 6th correct?   I will purchase tickets as soon as possible.  Let me know what is the exact date and location.   :bandance;

What part of Brooklyn?  I have some friends that are from Bay Ridge.

Wow, all those questions!!!!! I guess we should make a list to see what we want to eat. Yes, Kit, coleslaw is great, or even some KFC. Okay then every one tell me what you want to bring and if we have duplicates, we will just fix it. Oh, BTW I love you are helping ( actually doing) the raffle things Kit. Chris I would love to have you come. Kit, did you invite Jennifer yet? Paris, we would also love your help in the raffle thing. CD brooklyn, I think Karol has already answered your questions. I will check out the closest hotel. I am thinking, one person could bring hamburger, one rolls, one lettuce, tomato, etc. OR One person bring hot dogs, one rolls, one condiments. Any more suggestions?

So drinks we need, dessert  ;D , andddd

Ohhh, and I do have a new GPS unit Karol that replaced Mandy  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

Oh Chris, Yes, that is wonderful ( the GPS I mean) And that you might come is even better. Now if only Paris would show up and bring Beth with her?? Are you listening, Paris?  If you all dont want hot dogs or hamburgers, we could have chicken, or steaks, or what ever you want . No, there is no store real close, they are all about 2.5 miles away. Unlike the corporate website, the Riverside Meadows..net, which states there is a supermarket one mile away. Yes, we will need drinks, large ice chests if you have them, those that are driving, and desserts. I will make my famous brownies for all of you. LOL.

or even some KFC.

I stopped buying KFC as the last couple of times it tasted very salty to me.  How about El Pollo Loco?  May we have a list of places around our destination where we may buy food?  Coming from Carson (couple of hours), and considering the heat in June, don't want to poison everyone!

I love El Pollo Loco - looks like there are 3 in Riverside http://local.yahoo.com/results?stx=el+pollo+loco&csz=Riverside%2C+CA
Heat in June? What about June Gloom? It might be warm, ya never know. I hope it's just right, but no matter - it will still be fun.

Chris, if you can't rent a car don't worry about it.  I can swing by the airport if the hotel does not have a shuttle.
