Hi, everyone!

Well hubby came home this AM after seeing Dr in his unit -
dr had results of his 24 hr urine and bloodwork, and is extremely
happy with the results.
As of this coming Monday, he will be on D. on Wednesdays only,
and for 3 hrs.
He will have to maintain his D diet, and also make sure he limits
his sodium (my job) but I ampraying he may be free from
dialysis soon!   His function is returning, slowly but surely,
and creatnine isdropping.
Please all keep your fingers (and toes) crossed for us!

Love, Anne

I have everything crossed for this trend to continue.  Great news.  Is he feeling physically better as his function increases?

Hi!!!!

thanks for all the great wishes.   My husband is feeling fantastic - when he was first
put on 2 days a week I was pretty scared that he would start to feel sick - and
watched him like a hawk.   but he felt wonderful, and was coming home from
the short sessions (3 hrs 2 x a week) just like himself, before his kidneys failed.
Now, with the 1 day a week (starting next week) I will be watching and
constantly asking " you OK" once again!
I really do have a lot of faith in these Drs, and I hope (and think) we
are on a road not much traveled with Renal sickness - the one back to
function without the dreaded D machine.
Les's dialiversary will be april 1st (4 yrs on machine)
I will keep all posted on what is going on!
Love to you all, and praying for everyone on here!
Anne

Hi Anne,

 :2thumbsup;  What exciting news!

I am curious how this happened?  Did his kidney function improve?  I would love to decrease my dialysis, obviously  ;)

Thanks & Best wishes to your hubby!
