Error message/Timed Out/Page won't load

May be an aol problem but I cannot get the the "private messages"  or the "advanced search" to load -- connection "Error 504 - timed out".  The IHD main page, and "unread topics" will load, and other aol links are working.  Been this way for well over 24 hours.    I have high speed cable connection.  Any suggestions?  Do not send as "private message" as I can't load that page -- send direct e-mail or reply here please.

Is your high speed Internet connection through Comcast or Time Warner? I have received 7 PM's so far this morning from other members so it's working for most, and I can load the advanced search fine. I think it might me a problem with your Internet provider or you are have problems with IE or do you use Firefox? If you are not using Firefox I recommend you download it as a backup. My high speed is with Charter -- I suspect the problem may be aol, as the error message is on an aol page.

I'll try again tomorrow.

I just downloaded Firefox, so I'll see if it fixes my problem.
