TUESDAY: There's an upcoming maintenance scheduled for IHD so we may have an hour or so when the forum will be down. This is a minor upgrade and routine maintenance that needs to be kept up on to keep the forum running smooth. We don't have an exact time for the possible interruption but if we can will let you know.

Is it me or is the font smaller in the Show recent unread post from last visit section? Same when looking at recent post to replies and topic listings, but didn't check yet.

Harder to read now, or is this temporary?

Please let us know if you're experiencing any problems since the upgrade.
They are working on fixing features that are unique to our site.

I have a couple of items.
When posting, Smileys seem to appear for PC users, but not mac users.
The chat room participant section is gone.
Anything else?

Thanks for your patience!

Noticed they changed a couple smilies around and a couple are not animated anymmore, but that's not one of the big concerns.

What's past is prologue

« Reply #6 on: November 19, 2009, 03:54:55 PM »

Karol, this is a difficult problem for me to explain, but I will try:

When I am typing a message, if I write enough that the scroll bar on the side appears, then I get this issue where each time I type a letter, the entire text jumps to the top of the page. The cursor stays where it is. If I continue to type, the text box will jump down to where the cursor is long enough for me to see the letter appear, and then returns to the top. Sorry, this isn't very clear, but I don't know how else to describe it.

I had this problem before the maintenance - around July I suppose - then it seemed to go away, now it's back. Perhaps it's just my computer (PC with WindowsVista). Anyhow, I can still post, just have to keep it fairly brief. :-) Thanks!

Which ones? They look ok to me but depending on the browser it may be different.

 Has a new look
 ;D  >:(   :(  :o   :P :'(  :P
 New lookdoes not animate anymore
  ???  ::)  >:D

Basically those smilies have a different design and look compared to the ones we are use to such as  :clap;  :2thumbsup;  :Kit n Stik;  :puke;  :urcrazy;  and the new ones seem a little smaller compared to  the circumfrence of   :waiting;  :stressed;  :urcrazy;  but this is a nit picky thing or something I just notice. To bad my typing wasn't that way before hitting enter.

Nope.

Even in my other browser, I can't do that.

How about you Kitkatz? You are using a Mac, too. Do member profiles give a send message click-through?

Firefox I can understand and Google Chrome, those two do not allow you to do everything, but Mac browsers I have limited experience with. However for Aleta, it's not a setting since it worked previously on the browsers she used, so the next thinking would be a software issue due to the update. But if will have to see if Kitkatz has the same problem or okarol when they try on their Macs.

Ugh!
When I am on my Mac using Firefox version 3.0.15 I DO NOT have SMILEYS!
I also DO NOT have formatting buttons (Bold, Italic, Quote, etc)
If I look at someone's profile I DO have "Actions * Send personal message"
I hope we can restore the missing functions soon.
