Marvin constantly shows off his fistula.  To women, he says, "You want to feel my thrill?" which gets their attention pretty quickly -- even before they put their hand on his fistula (which gets another WOW look).  (Marvin loves to flirt almost as much as RichardMel.)  Marvin tells little kids that the doctor sewed up a bumblebee in his arm.  Kids seem the most amazed and accepting of Marvin's fistula.  Some adults will see his arm and say, "Oh, my God!"  They have this "yuck" look on their face.  Kids, on the other hand, say, "Cool."  I wish all people were as accepting as little kids.

I go to sleep every night by placing my hand on Marvin's fistula.  That's the only way I can go to sleep.  Weird, I know.

Okay, here is "our" secret. When it is time to stick the needles and I have to check for the thrill, I slowly run my little finger all the way along the fistula. Slowly, all the way.

Gives Carl a thrill and not in the fistula!  :shy;

I told my 4 year-old nephew that I had a bee in my arm.  He thought that was super cool.
