Attention Members!

We will be having the annual get together October 9-11th with the main dinner scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2009.

Details on dinner will be coming up in September!

Now is the time to get your reservations into the Sahara.
It will be 66 dollars a night for Friday and Saturday.
Make reservations by calling 1-888-696-2121.  Mention you are with IHateDialysis.com grouping.
The last day to make reservations is September 16, 2009.

I am on the list twice -- Do I take up twice the room?  Am I twice as nice?  I make twice the trouble?   I am not paying for two of me!!    My family was going over the calendar for the next couple of months.  Some one wanted to plan a get together for October 10th and half the room said, Mom won't be here - that is her Vegas weekend   :rofl;

I just posted on the other thread - my trip accompanying Jenna for her stay in France has been confirmed and I won't be home until Oct. 13. I hate to miss this get together because it's something I look forward to all year!  :(  I know everyone will have a great time.

Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

I'm on hold until we get my kidney stuff taken care of.  I should know by Sept. 16th though.

Oct 41, 2007 - Got fistula placed.
Feb 13, 2008 - Activated on "the list".
Nov 5, 2008 - Received living donor transplant from my sister-in-law, Etta.
Nov 5, 2011 - THREE YEARS POST TRANSPLANT!  :D

Paris, my head floor nurse Kevin is good friends with the lead at one of the most popular tourist dialysis center in Las Vegas.  He said he'd take care of it if I decide to go.

But it still depends...   I'll post the name of that Davita next later when I see Kevin  to see if anyone else will be  using it.

this is the post i didn't want to make. april and i have have had the financial week from hell, it started with me hitting a deer on my way home from dialysis (4:30am) a few saturdays ago. (deer and grammalady survived, car not so much.) i'm going to spare you the details of the 2 other expensive disasters, the bottom line being there really isn't any way we're going to make vegas this year. (and i was so looking forward to meeting wenchie) i'm not giving up on the idea completely though, miracles do happen, i'm not counting us out completely until oct 9th arrives and i still don't have flight reservations, but i'm not holding my breath. i do expect lots and lots of pictures.

I won't be going to Vegas since I got a PM from DCrawford today telling me that "I" am the reason he isn't going.  Beats the living hell out of me as to why....I have talked to this person less than a handful of times and obviously he feels I have personally attacked him.  I find this remarkably funny, since I don't know him or anything about him.
Have a great time....enjoy the slots.  Let's see....I think I may be the third or fourth person who has to walk away from this site to avoid being attacked in PMs.

Since wenchhie blocked my PM I am required to post here.  I want to keep this issue private.

am not just a single type of person.  There are many aspect to me.  The one I want to address now is that I AM NOT the kind of person to publicize my personal opinions but rather  to state them in  Private Message -- which  I did to you. 

And am AM NOT bypassing  the trip to Vegas because I'm afraid of you (which seems to be your thing as the "bad" girl who is, in the long run, perfect.   I am skipping Vegas because I want to avoid confrontation.  That is the kind of person I am too. 

I am an opinionated person (whoops).  Shirley McClaine believes in reincarnation.  When  asked how she knows she was reincarnated she said I don't Know.  I believe!   Reincarnation is a little wild for me but I accept her explanation.  If there are any others  who want  to say "I don't know" then I'll glad engage in a civil  conversation about it.

Since the chat session that you conveniently forget, I have avoided you or responding to your  posts.  Can you please do the same for me?  It will be greatly appreciated./

Also a few weeks ago in chat.... siince then I've avoiided her leaviing chat when she enter, not responding to her posts, etc.  Pairs was asking me about Vegas.  I wanted to avoid Vegas.  I want to handle this priivate with
Wenchie.....  Just as  I did with Lucinda... (when I said please stop posting negative things about me)
