everyone for all your strength /good wishes and support. If you can give me a week or so to get back on my feet a bit i will do a full post on what went on. Im still very sore and cant sleep for the pain and also still quite toxic and fluid overloaded. I have been told it will take a few sessions to get me right again !
However i do have some GOOD news !!!! I got a call from another hospital this morning asking if i would mind going there at least for this week for hemo
THIS is the hospital i want to end up going too full time !!! It has an excellent reputation , unlike the one im at now. So im going to try and fight to stay there now ive got my foot in the door. Just one minor glitch tho' the time ..errrrr 7 am !!! yup have to be there for then ! Up at 5 then , nevermind not sleeping anyway , so might as well do something with the time , but whats the betting im fast asleep in the morning when the alarm goes off !!
Best wishes to everyone KS

KS,
That's a great piece of news... Getting the foot in the door of the hospital you want to be treated at!... Mum was hoping to get to the local hospital, but it never happened...
She used to have the 7am slot too, and she much preferred it (When they tried to change her to 3pm we both nearly hit the roof!)... Mum liked 7am for three reasons... 1. Like yourself, she didn't sleep that well at nights, and was awake early anyway... 2. By being on the first shift, there wasn't the opportunity for delays to happen... People being late arriving, and extra time needed to get people on and off the machines creating hold ups for the following shifts... And 3, she was home by midday... Traffic wasn't as bad at 6am when the taxi picked up, and at about midday when she was dropped home again...
Yes, I'd be prepared to bet that you'll be sleeping like a baby when the alarm goes off in the morning!!!... Shall I send you my spare Rooster Alarm clock???... It crows like a rooster... LOUDLY!... It would wake the flipping dead!...
Keep up the good fight, and don't worry about us... Keep feet as well as chin up in the meamwhile!...
Love and
....

That's great, you sound more positive. Yes get your foot in the door and worry about getting the time changed once you can get established there. Good luck.

Hi guys , still floored today but guess its going to take a while ! Well the new place was totally different , i was treated so differently , the wait time was so different, just everything about it ! I have begged them today to let me stay there and not send me back to the other hell hole , but they wont tell me yet if i can . They said i was only there for this week up to now as i was being moved around because i was one of the fittest !!

K S I'm so glad things are finally looking up for you! I've only been doing this for 4 mos. When they told me to be there at 6:45 am I said No Way!! I have a very hard time going to bed before 1am then get up at 5. But it is working. The best thing with that time frame is I always get in on tine and it doesn't waste the entire day. The worst thing is having to eat that early in the day. But you will adjust and the good days will finally start!

I think of you every day Kickstart. I had to do haemo for 4 months when I started dialysis, and felt just like you do. So I'm sending you every positive thought and prayer and whatever I think will work to help you get through this first awful bit. Good luck with the hospital change!
