To think the other week i wrote how i couldnt understand how a woman could choose death over dialysis , well today i fully understand. i cant write now , i cant even speak, im so traumatized over the way i have been treated today. If i can find the strength i will post tomorrow but right now i wish the ground would swallow me up. I need to be with my dogs , i need to hug them  i need the strength to get through till tomorrow. KS...

I'm SO sorry to hear that you've been traumatised in this way... I'm thinking of how my mum was treated in a similar manner...

Enjoy your time of peace with your pawed people (no better people to chill out with!)...

May God bless and protect you...

Love...

I am sorry. It has to get better soon.  I am still fairly new to this site compared to many.  Does anyone have Kickstart's cell number to call?  If you do, please do so.  A friendly voice can be so much more comforting than all the kind words that are posted here.  Until then please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.   :grouphug;

KS...

I'm thinking of, and praying for you... I've never forgotten the help and reassurance you gave me when I was climbing the walls with worry about Mum...

I hope you're soon feeling much better.... Gawd, I hate this disease and the trauma it causes... Even more, I hate the Healthcare system, and some of the individuals who deliver it... The attitude of the professionals can make or break a life!...

May God bless and protect you...

Love...

Don't know anything about the UK but isn't there an advocacy system of some sort that could be called to help KS out in any way?  Something?  Anything?  Cause all we can do from here is extend our virtual hugs and positive thoughts...

Nothing, I mean nothing is fun about dialysis access and the surgery to go with it. I remember the first access I had. It was in the groin area.  In addition the hospital gave me no information on dialysis. I called membership services and they asked me "didn't you get the welcome packet from the dialysis nurse?"  Well I answered:"Hell no!"  They remembered to send one to me two days later.  Sigh. Sometimes they forget you are in a new position and scared out of your wits.   :grouphug;
