Body Temprature

Is it just me or does anyone else have real swings in body temp (regardless of weather). I know a lot of anemic people say they cant get warm . I find one minute im sweating (even just sat) then the next shivering. Night time is a nightmare , if i could sleep in a fridge i would , the colder , the better. (and no its not the change!) This is not recent for me and when i ask the doctors about it , i just get the usual shrug of the shoulders. Anyone else have this problem?

I can get into a sweat so quick now.  I also hate having covers now and I have always slept with covers on me.

I'm always the first one to be cold. I wear lightweight gloves and long sleeves at work year round and I usually have a blanket over my legs at work. I can't wear sandals because my feet would get cold. Cold feet = cold me! People laugh and tell me it's 90-degrees outside. I always respond that yes, but it's not 90 degrees inside (probably 70 degrees inside).

However, I have a hard time doing yardwork or anything else outside in the summer because I get overheated very easily and almost feel like passing out if I'm out doing anything active outside when the temperature is in the mid-70's or higher and the sun is shining. I have a very low range of comfort when it comes to the temperature these days.

I sometimes get really hot feet in bed for no reason at all.  Yes I was getting hot and cold times, and no one seemed to care much about it - but I am 45, so got my hormones checked and sure enough if was menopause - the chemo and stuff had bought it on early.  So, if it's not that, then I don't know - is it a common thing with dialysis maybe?  When you say it's not recent do you mean it's happened alongside the dialysis?  I was hoping it would go away soon!  Eeek.

When I was on hemo my temperature hovered around 96 degrees and I was freezing all the time... now that I'm on PD it's pretty regular.  I'm usually anywhere between 97.5 and 98.5

My normal temp is 97.7.  I am cool most of the time, but when I go out to the store, I can start sweating and feel overheated.  I just figured my internal thermastat is wacked out anymore!
