Enter the Astellas Ride of a Lifetime 2010 Contest

To celebrate the gift of life, Astellas Pharma US, Inc. is again partnering with the Donate Life Rose Parade ® float - a float dedicated entirely to people whose lives have been transformed by transplantation. The float honors organ recipients who are living proof of medical advancements, and organ donors, whose generosity makes the continuation of life possible.

By sharing your transplant story, you and a guest could win a five-night trip to California and become part of the Donate Life* float team in the Rose Parade. The five contest winners will ride on the float during the Parade, meet organ recipients and donors from around the country, help build the float and attend special receptions honoring and celebrating the transplant community. To enter the Astellas Ride of a Lifetime 2010 contest, submit an essay of 500 words or less describing how your life was transformed by transplantation. All entries must be accompanied by a photo of the entrant, preferably a headshot or a picture of the entrant alone. Please include the photo within the text of your essay.

Contest Deadline: July 31, 2009 11:59 p.m. EDT

Yes, I would Rerun, because that is a very successful story.
The sponsor of the contest, Astellas, manufactures Prograf.

Nahhhh.  I read the rules and first you have to currently be taking Prograf and then they choose one from each region.... East West North etc....

Good luck to all who enter!!!              :clap;

I forgot all about that when Astellas gave me that info last month. They also have a scholarship to. I'd like to go to Califrnia, but I'm not a writer, I need a ghost writer. Or I just need to play and win the mega millions lotto. :2thumbsup;

Hmmm a free trip to LA.  Now there's something to strive for.  Of course, if I didn't have to buy Prograf...I could pay for a trip!   lolol
