Well first off notice I did not delete them, I just locked them. I am against editing posts, locking and deleting posts. But there are a few exceptions to the rule. One being I will edit a post if it contains extremely vulgar language, since I want this to be a site where people from all age groups can come visit. Second I will lock a post if I feel it is of no use to other members of the board or it contains inappropriate subject matter. Feel free to rant and vent about the frustrations of dialysis and speak your mind on other topics, but please use some discretion since honestly the types of panties a nurse wears or whether or not they wear stockings is really unimportant and is of no use to this site. This site is here to help people and to inform them of the truth about dialysis.

Unimportant to you...

"the truth of dialysis" -- you feel the truth was kept from you? You feel the harsh reality of dialysis is sugar-coated?

No! unimportant to me and the several (5 to be exact) members who emailed me and feel it is in poor taste. So the majority wins I will NOT lose many members for the sake of one. I did not delete your threads which I could have, I simply locked them so other members would not provoke you or "Flame" you.

As for your second statement:

"the truth of dialysis" -- you feel the truth was kept from you? You feel the harsh reality of dialysis is sugar-coated?

What I said was "This site is here to help people and to inform them of the truth about dialysis." so new patients can come and hear the harsh realities of dialysis unlike what their doctors or social workers tell them, so they can hear it straight from a fellow patient. How many Nephrologists, Social workers, Dietitians, Nurses, Techs do you know with End Stage Renal Disease? They are the ones who sugar-coat dialysis or can not understand the struggles which we face EVERY day. And that is the very reason this site is here to get the truth about dialysis. By the way, YES 11 years ago a lot of truth was kept from me.
