What's the deal about soaking the potatoes???  I don't know any soups easy enough to make or else they take all the food processors and stuff I don't have.

Hers a good soup Dan.
Get a box of low sodium chicken broth, put it in a pot. About a half pound of ground beef, season it if you would like, make tiny little meatballs and drop them in the heating broth. One bunch of escarole, washed, cut up, drop into soup.
Italian Wedding Soup. Good.

Dan, you have GOT to start eating more.
Try this one, since you have no diet restrictions.

In the crockpot, or in the oven. One chuck roast, two or more peeled potatoes. Some carrots if you like them, pour over it  a can of golden mushroom soup. Wonderful, and left overs for days.

Jean, sounds like one of my favorites we used to call pot roast.  Problem is I've tried it a couple of times and never comes out tasting good.  Wrong cut of meat, or something.

But actually last night I had two slices of the chesse on four crackers, so I at more than it sounded.

Chuck roast Dan, cooked long and slow, maybe 3 hours at 325. This is just so good. Try it again. You are not eating enough. Are you trying to get a fashion model figure? And, Zach, next time I make it you are invited for dinner. You too Dan.

3 hours?  and then you have to was pots and stuff... I could get a shower and go out and get something in less time and with less work than that.

Ok, tonight I started to make a turkey bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich.  Forgot about toasting bread so I chopped up tomatos and lettuce and crumbled the turkey and ate it as a salad thing.  Also drank a glass of freshly squeezed oj.  Having ice cream and coke zero for dessert now.  My culinary skills are improving, right Restorer and Ina?
