Smiling for you!

In life there are many crossroads at which it is necessary to make a decision. Often we are unsure which path to take, and weigh the pros and cons of each. In the end, however it is our intuition that guides us. Do not allow your intuition to be overruled by reason…. We all have periods in our lives that we feel overwhelmed by circumstances, making us unable to balance our lives. It helps to visualize the circumstances as storm clouds. A part of life’s ever changing weather system. If we wait, the clouds will pass and we will find that the heart of the storm was essential to our growth….

Find within you inner peace. Consider as a dove represents love, compassion and truth. These same qualities are within ones self…

Live your life in such a way that if you look back at the foot prints you have left behind you will see a path that you are pleased and content to have called your own…

Change is a constant in our lives. Accepting what we can not change is no less important than changing what we can not accept.
Imagine, you are like a drop of water in the ocean. There are billions of drops that form an ocean of waves. If there were no drops, there would be no ocean..

Emotions can sometimes be uncomfortable. We have no choice but to experience them. But to live by your emotions is like bondage of a tyrant’s rule. Acknowledge emotions for what they are, without shame or guilt. Allow them to pass through you like wind moving through the trees…

Intuition is our sixth sense. It is a stream of insight directly from God. While intuition is a creative force, reason is a controlling one. Reason often makes us aware of our differences from others, intuition forges bonds. By learning to trust our intuitions we open ourselves to life’s most valuable truths, and vital experiences…
Just as a flower buds unfurling in the spring, similarly, our inner self develops in their own ways…

Opening our hearts, be trusting, honest, communicative, giving and caring. This is its own reward. When a current of love flows from you to someone else your possibilities for fulfillment are enlarged beyond measure. Unconditional love is our highest duty and our greatest joy..

To find a wholeness within ones self is to be aware of all that we are and all that available to us, seeing life in the broadest perspective. This involves honoring mind, body and spirit. To do justice to the mind use reason as your tool, constructively and creatively. To do justice to your body, foster well being and be aware of all living things. To do justice to your spirit, become loving, revere in Gods mysteries that give life it’s meaning… Exercise your mind, body and soul… Least not forget to live by your values…

Trust in your heart, and you will discover that not merely is such trust justified, it is the only thing that makes real sense in out lives. It creates true joy, whatever our circumstances…

Yes, finding tranquility and peace within your self first, then accepting things as they are without questioning the reasons for their existence is more important than any scholar could teach. When we become at peace, all other things become right.  ;) Sassy

That was truly insightful Sassy, thanks for sharing.  There was something you said that reminded me of another statement I heard long ago and still value today.

Change is a constant in our lives. Accepting what we can not change is no less important than changing what we can not accept.

God.  Grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know where I hid the bodies of those who pissed me off!
