Numbness

I am having a serious problem with numbness in my left hand (the one on the side with my graft - upper arm). I remember that when i had my first operation to put in my graft i had that problem. After a little while it went away. Since my recent operation to re-route the graft it has come back. It does not stay at the same intensity all the time, and sometimes it completely goes away.
But now it seems to be getting worse. I wonder if it is due to my lifting some boxes at work. Do you guys think this could be the reason?
Every time I go to dialysis, when the nurses ask if I have any problems, I tell them about this. they make a note, but do nothing.
Is it something I should be concerned about or should i just live with it, since my hand still functions okay?

Didn't tynywonder have a similar problem relatively recently? I will try to find the thread.
Okay, I found the thread I was thinking of.

I missed this thread until now, I hope you're doing better bajanne!
Numbness can either be because a nerve is being compressed and feeling isn't getting through, or because of diminished blood flow. It needs to be diagnosed because loss of good circulation is very serious. Please let us know how you are doing.

I hope you have found an answer. We are all worried about you. Have you been able to see a doctor yet? Sending love

Hope the numbness in your hands gets better soon. Maybe your doctor will have some answers.
