Hey, Johnr, what the heck??????  Didn't expect things to take that turn, did you?   We have been wondering about you and wishing the best, you had to come back for Maiah's sake!  Take care and get well quickly.

John, that's horrifying - are you okay?  Have you had previous surgeries?  Did you react this way?

Hi John,
Jenna had her tunnel catheter for about 10 months, it was tough without showers because she had to wash her hair in the sink,
and she has tons of hair. Then I started taking her to a salon, which was a pain cuz she doesn't like them spending all the time
fussing over her, but it worked out. Her original fistula surgery had to be redone - the first doctor botched it and wanted to abandon
the artery. Luckily we were able to find another vascular surgeon who saved the vein and artery and got the fistula to work. It took
about 5 months to mature but has worked great since then.
I am so glad to hear from you, I was so worried. Take care and let us know how you're doing please!
