Moderators,Sometimes in the "Introduce Yourself"section, conversations are started. Instead of stopping these threads to begin new ones, can they be moved into a new section to continue a thought? I think it would make new members feel more welcome than a "Please read the rules" post.Just a thought ....
It's very simple and there is no need to split any topics or change anything. When a new members joins they go to the "Introduce Yourself" section and simply introduce themselves. And the other members welcome them, that is all. If the new member asks questions a member or a mod will kindly ask them to create a new topic in the correct section. The members should not continue the problem by replying and continuing the conversation, just welcome the member and that it is all. If members continue a conversation in an "Introduce Yourself" section the thread will be locked.- EpomanOwner/Admin

They just reply to what they see is there.

That's true, however it just takes a second to find out, and if you see a bunch of welcomes in a thread, then most likely it's an "Introduce Yourself" thread. That is why I personally never use the "Show unread posts since last visit." link I just go to the home page and look at the "Red" or "White" kidneys and that will show me new posts and in what section much easier.
