I am Jae Cie diagnosed in 2009 with ESRD and currently starting a Foundation for dialysis patients. If I can help you with something let me know. I will probably create a poll to get some insight from other patients and would first like to know what you hate MOST about dialysis. I look forward to discussions.

Hello Jae Cie and welcome to the board. I did not like Dialysis either. I learned to live with it until I received the Gift of Life from an 18 year old. I thank my Lord in Heaven for that wonderful day in my life. If I can help you just ask and you shall receive.

Please tell me, where  and in which country do you wish to set up your foundation ?

Is your foundation going to be registered with the Charity Board or is it going to be a Foundation on the Internet ?

Hi Kristina, My Foundation is based in the USA and has 501c(3) status. You can visit our facebook page by going here https://www.facebook.com/pages/Carlisle-Williams-Foundation/310701685735807. It is a regular boots-on-the-ground Foundation going to hospitals and dialysis centers to support patients. We also have online support/telephone options.

many thanks for the information.
Your foundation sounds very interesting and the support you offer in hospitals and dialysis centres is very much needed...
Whenever I was in hospital with „my“ kidney trouble (chronic proliferative glomerulonephritis and hypertension,
drug-intolerance to antihypertensive medicines, allergies etc.), I met  so many other kidney patients
... and they were often just left alone by their families... or  even their friends...

Many of these patients were sometimes in urgent need to talk to another human being...
