Football season is near and football is big in Ohio.  Ohio State is expected to do great things this year.
Just wondering what college or pro teams are your favorites and who you are
expecting to do well this year.  Since Green Bay Packers drafted AJ Hawk I will
have to root for them to do well but they probably need more than AJ.

Please, folks, don't be offended.  I have question that has puzzled me for years.  What is the justification for calling this game 'football'?  It just looks like super-protected rugby to me.  There is no regular foot contact with the ball really.

Yes, I agree Rerun, Seattle deserved to win and they were ripped off.
It was sad to watch.

I don't know much about Rugby, Bajanne,  but you are right there is not much foot-ball
contact other than kicking it.

None of the above.  I am rooting for whomever wins, whatever game, whenever they win it!

I am all about The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals, and I expect both teams to do very well this season.

Joe is a big Gators fan (U of Florida), I like to tease him by rooting for the Seminoles (Florida State U - they are BIG rivals) but really I couldn't care less.  I hate football.  :D  Doesn't help that our Jaguars suck, maybe they'll be better this year.

Bajanne, I have no idea why it's called football.  I wish we'd call soccer 'football' like every other country and get a new name for the other one.
