Does everyone have to be on Davita

umm.. trying to understand. You were doing it the normal 4 times a day and leave the fluid in at night? Hope the night time dialysis works for you. You might have to go dry all day if you absorb too much with long dwells.

I asked my nurse in PD if I was absorbing the fluid since I was getting the runs and gaining weight but they were like "that doesn't happen".

So I know what you mean about their lack of knowing this stuff that they should know since it has been their job for years. I wonder as well sometimes...

I had fluid in me 24 hrs around the clock including night.
Then I'd go to work and that was a long dwell then take a bit off in the evening but I still
put in more than I took out.
Yes, they've already told me that I will be dry during the day.
The PET test showed that I have a high-high/average membrane transfer rate,
so in a longer dwell one starts absorbing the fluid back in the body.
It does happen.
