I am trying to be the #1 single fund raiser. I have a freind who told me that Saturday nite we will look at who is in the lead and he would donate enough to put me on top. Right now I am at $1,175.00. with 2 days to go I am hoping he doesn't get off easy  ;D ...Boxman

Well my Friend and I got together today to see if we could push me into the lead but one person who is a fundraiser jumped to over $2100.00 which is awesome. My Friend did donate $200.00 which is keeping me in second place at $1340.00 and it was a very generous donation by him. We will take 2nd why not! ...Boxman

Thank you all for your encouragement and well wishes. The walk went well. There where over 560 people that attended. I took 2nd place as an individual fundraiser. I brought my wheel chair instead of my prothesis (leg was hurting) so I pushed myself for almost 2 miles. Toward the end someone offered to push me, I said no. Just kidding! There was clowns, a magician and karaoke. All the kids and there was a bunch,  enjoyed all three. Everyone was served lunch. The weather was sunny and 78 degrees. you could not ask for a more perfect day. I got to meet a number of very special people. One lady I met had a cadaver transplant for over 25 years, wow! All the volunteers worked really hard. The setting was in a park with very scenic trails. Below is a picture of me clowning around along with my friend "Dot"

Fantastic Boxman.  Thanks for participating and raising money and awareness on behalf of all of us.  Great photos and I'm glad the weather was cooperative too.   :thumbup; :clap; :thumbup;
