I just wrote a long introduction and it didn't get posted, I think I exited out instead of posting-duh.  Well I am here for my mom.  She is 71, had one kidney removed ten years ago due to kidney cancer and now her remaining kidney is failing and dialysis began in September 07.  She is currently living by herself about five minutes from my house and she is awesome.  She loves her children and her grandchildren maybe more than they deserve.  I just want to be able to help her feel better and reading these forums help.  I have introduced her to these forums but since her first experience surfing the web was in January 08 after she retired, she's probably not going to post anything anytime soon.  She does read them, however, and if she sees this post I hope she knows that her daughter Sharon loves her mom, Claudia, very, very much.  :)

:welcomesign;  I'm sure it means a lot to your Mom how much you care about her.  I hope she'll eventually feel comfortable about posting here but in the meantime, reading is fine.  There is an awful lot of collective experience and wisdom on IHD.
