Damn goofynina, Barber of Deville, WOW you are OLD! But are you sure you mean Deville?

The opera was famously parodied in animated cartoons starring Woody Woodpecker (The Barber of Seville, 1944) , Bugs Bunny (Rabbit of Seville, 1950) and Tex Avery's Magical Maestro (1952).

If it is Deville. got a link? But yeah you still are OLD!  >:D

I guess my favorite character(s) would be Tom of Tom & Jerry and Sylvester of Sylvester & Tweedy bird.  I am a cat lover and I guess that's why they'd have to be my favorite character(s) and then it would have to be the lovable skunk that always flirts w/and tries to mate w/black cats that get paint or dirt on their backs and he mistakes them for skunks too! Yea, Peppie La Pu!  Great subject to ponder.

By the way, I'm 46 and I remember watching the old cartoons when I was a child and now I know how they came about some famous later characters, thanks for the cartoon history!

My family kids me whenever they see in the Animaniacs Show Katie Kaboom.  They call me Katie Kaboom.   I go kaboom if anyone calls me Katie.  (Don't do it Kevno! I mean it!  I have the big stick ready!)
I love Looney Tunes especially the Coyote.  He just can't get anything right.  He reminds me of me somedays.  I also like Foghorn Leghorn.   "I know when to stop talkin',boy.  You just don't know boy.  I know when to shut my beak and let it go, son! sheesh."

My ex-roommate Paul gave me that nick name because of my temper.

The family did the same to me. Besides my name is Katherine.  Katie could be a derivative.

LOL Who knows who is who!
I am not even going to go there!

I loved Whacko, the Animaniac, when he burped Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.  My daughters and I were cracking up.  In another cartoon he did a rendition of burping Jingle Bells. I about died laughing. My mother thought it was disgusting, which of course made it even funnier!
