I was on here a while back but I retired from my job where that was the only place I had access to a computer.  I am from Alabama but I have since moved to Tennessee to be close to an Aunt & Uncle here as I no longer had any family in AL.  I have been on dialysis since December 2006 and I have a catheter that I am using.  The doctors/surgeons have tried THREE freaking times to put in an access but they have all failed.  I am a 38 year old female and I have "fur babies", 2 beautiful cats named Tipper & Sandie.  I am hoping to make friends here and learn more about dialysis from others on a more personal level versus hearing it all from med staff.    I am open to any questions anyone might have for me.  Thanks for your time!   :bandance;

Welcome. I have two cats, Ming and Aslan. They are older kitties and spoiled rotten.  There is a thread related to our pets with pics on the board in the off topic area.  There are lots of answers to questions all over the forums.  Enjoy!

Welcome back Tyny! :) I am so looking forward to seeing piccies of your babies... I am owned by a cat too but I don't dare call her a fur baby because she runs my life and I could get in big trouble for not telling everyone she is the one in charge!!!! :) I think this explains why I'm still single... no gf can get a look in with the way I am under her paw! LOL :)

Again welcome back and hope to see more from you! :)

I hear ya Mizar!  I got here as fast as I could as well!   LOL    :bandance;

Boxman, you asked how old my "babies" are and they are going on 8 years old now and they are still doing GREAT!  They bring so much joy into a person's life if you let it, you know?  Do you have "fur babies" as well?  If so, tell me about yours!
