Hey, hey.

It looks like there has been fun galore while I was getting back into the teaching groove. Had a great day myself with all my young friends.

My diabetic child was so pleased to give himself his shot. And when mom picked him up, she was astounded since he had only done it a few times. Kids grow up!  :yahoo;

I'm on a winning streak!  :clap;

Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #18663 on: August 06, 2009, 05:53:02 PM »

OK, who is bored with posting little emotions in here?  I have an idea... lets play a game.  For the next hour let your post be something about YOU that no one in IDH knows.  It can be funny, serious, boring, or whatever as long as you've never told anyone in here.  Deal????

I'll start:  In 1959 I was arrested with four other people for being drunk in the rotunda of the capital building in Austin.  We were doing nothing but sitting on the floor in a circle around the Star... (Twirl will understand).

Then you can post an emotion. :secret;

I talk to everyone, I am the person in the elevator that talks to you about the weather, and I am the person in the bank that tells you your baby is beautiful... My sister hates shopping with me because I know everyone and talk to everyone.  |My dad is the same way  :secret;

Chris, my student is still just 7. He was diagnosed diabetic when he was four, and I began doing his lunch shots when he was five. He just started third grade today.
