   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Diagnosed with ESRD June 29, 1999
1st Dialysis - July 4, 1999
Last Dialysis - December 2, 2000

Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - December 3, 2000

Cataract Surgery on good eye - June 24, 2009
Knee Surgery 2010

At this point I'd use anything over dialysis...  I heard that a daily shot of whiskey would clear the toxins from your blood!

If it works, do it.  If it just makes you feel a little better, do it.  I guess dialysis works but it sure doesn't make me feel a lot better afterwards.

I don't know about that Dan, when I tried the chocolate diet, it didn't make me gain weight, oooh way it did taste sooooo good though  :oops;

Chris, I thought of you last night when I heard about a worker falling in a chocolate vat.  It is a sad story, but it reminded me of Willy Wonka and I couldn't get that picture out of my mind.  Then I felt really bad for having silly thoughts when someone lost their life.  So, Chris, please stay away from open vats of chocolate!

Diagnosed Nov 2007 with Multiple Myeloma.
By Jan 2008 was in end stage renal failure and on haemodialysis.
Changed to CAPD in April 2008.  Now on PD with a cycler.  Working very part time - teaching music.  Love it.  Husband is Paul (we're both 46), daughter Molly is 13.

Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017

I guess he didn't try to eat all the chocolate like I would have  :rofl;

Was this in the news or on the show 1000 ways to die? Sounds like the latter since they have had similar stories, just not in chocolate. Well they did have one on chocolate powder though.
