Aw, Dan, you got infiltrated. Stuck those da***d needles out the other side of your fistula! I know that is sooo painful. It doesn't happen as much with older fistulas. I only did it "slightly" to my husband once. Never again. I am so careful any more.

I am so sorry that happened to you. NOT what you needed.

Regarding A&D, I prefer reading the books. The movies don't seem to live up to my expectations.

The first time I noticed that was in high school when I read "The Running Man" way after seeing it on HBO. The book was way better and had a different ending too.

Good  Morning.... It's a day!   Didn't get my garbage/trash out on time.  Thought  it would be a day late before Sat was a holiday.  Guess City Employees didn't get a holiday!

Paris, someone wiped out my favorite avitar so I just don't have one anymore.  They didn't even mention it to me.  And it was not dirty (just a little kid kissing or hugging a donkey).

Aleta, I don't read much as much as I would l ike or watch movies or TV either.  I think I had ADD long before they knew what it was.   lol   I know what you mean though, because I used to like Broadway shows a lot and when they made movies of them they  just didn't seem to work.  Wish I could figure out a way to read in that little chair of horrors though.  I'm going to ask the Optomotris for suggestions when I go next.

I've started watching movies (or something on DVD) just to have something to pass the time at dialysis.

Blah day here and just didn't want to get up. I too didn't get all the garbage out today and also didn't go get my blood test done. I just kept hitting the snooze button on the 3 alarms I have going off at different times

I'm finally home after a very, very long day. They will all be this long for the next few weeks!!!

Going to take a swim and then hit the sack.

Dan, Have you thought about books on tape. Or rather, downloaded to your computer and burned onto CD or loaded into an IPOD. Then you can listen to the books during dialysis. I do this when driving. It is virtually hands free and really helps pass the time.

I always looked forward to the next one!

I have been looking at books for download ... actually looking for a good deal.  You know any.  You can get them from the state but you have to have much worse eyes than  I do.  For me it is just uncomfortable.  Yes, I'm trying to find a reasonably priced way to do that.

I guess it was a moderator or someone when people started to interpret my last avitar.  It just went away.  I'll find another one that it will take a while for them to get...

Pretty exciting about the music on your trip, huh?  My friend and neighbor Ken (you can check him out on my friends page - or google him if you like Jazzz at all) is doing a tribute to  Michael Jackson tomorrow in this 6 to 9  happy hour gig.  I may go if I'm not too pooped after dialysis.

I go to the library to get books on tape and now they have them on pre made mp3 players. The only problem is you have to return them in 6 days or pay a heavy fine. You also have to supply your own headphones or the library sells them for $2.00

I have headphones coming out my .... (ears).  I need to check the Bellaire Library.  I know you can get them from Houston but it is uptown and hard to get to.  Bellaire is on my street about a block away.  MMMM, good point.  I'll see on Thursday what they have.

I have Gran Torino to watch tomorrow in the chair of horrors.  Is it worth the trouble?
