Staying inside too but not stayng cool all the time. The AC runs constantly but along about this time each day it just doesn't seem to cool much below 85. I also have all the ceiling fans running. Think that help.

Come to think of it, nothing is funny anymore.
Nothing that I post here is intended for fact but rather for exploration into my personal thought processes. Any slight, use of words with multiple connotations or other percieved insults are totally unintended. I reserve my insults for private.

The ac is running like crazy and I have every ceiling fan on in the house. I closed the blinds and am blocking out as much sun and heat as possible! I could be living in a cave it is so dark in here, but I will do anything to try to keep the house cool. I keep my thermostat set at 82. I don't know how people keep theirs at 72--my bill would be enormous! And my ac would probably give up - it wouldn't beable to work that hard. And then my huge, long haired cat wants to snuggle and lay in my lap! It is like having a heating pad sitting on me! I love her, but it is HOT!!

Well, we stayed cool by doing the big D! Going to take tomorrow off. Won't get in the pool until the sun is off it. Power flickered a few times because of area storms, but we didn't lose it during our treatment. Whew! And no rain here.

I didn't get into the pool until really late tonight. We forgot to take the cover off before Carl went back to school to do some waxing. So I had to wait until he got back.
It was dusky and while I was exercising I heard a fox. They make the weirdest sound. It came out of the woods and then circled around the front of the house.
Listened to the cicadas, too.
