Have you heard of smoking mushrooms and getting mellow????  Well, Aleta is going so that should tell us what they are going to do.

I love Mellow Mushroom, especially when it is nice enough to sit outside.  We always order the pretzel appetizer.  Everything there is yummy!

Yes, it is a restaurant.  Great pizza, etc.  Casual dining.  I could just get their appetizers and be happy.  A whole lot better than those things Twirl and Dan are eating!!   :rofl;

I just want to GO to a restaurant. I'm the 10 minute gourmet according to my husband.  :rofl;

I'm back in time to say g'night.

Paris is right on. Mellow Mushroom is a chain in this area of the country. Pizza, Calzones and sandwiches. I almost always get a house calzone with artichokes and black olives. It is big enough for two meals. Yummy. About once a month a whole group of us get together at an area restaurant for community. Never know who will be there, but it's fun. We often can't go because of dialysis, but tomorrow we are going!  :clap;

To David's/DW original responce, no it didn't go so well at the eye doc. I am having eye surgery on the 24 to remove a cataract that has suddenly increased in size from my last appointment in March with my retinal doctor. I noticed vision changes that did not get better and since this was at the same time I was sick, better go to my opthalmologist to get checked out. Could have done it on the 10th, but other doc appointments got in the way. So if it goes like my last eye surgery in 2003, I will be totally blind for 4 months due to all the medications I am on hampering healing and then I ot an infection.

I hate those drops they put in your eyes so they can see inside with a bright light and a magnifying glass to burn a hole in your brain, makes me tired and not see well.

Neuropathy in legs age 10

Eye impairments and blindness in one eye began in 95, major one during visit to the Indy 500 race of that year
   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Diagnosed with ESRD June 29, 1999
1st Dialysis - July 4, 1999
Last Dialysis - December 2, 2000

Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - December 3, 2000

Cataract Surgery on good eye - June 24, 2009
Knee Surgery 2010
2011/2012 in process of getting a guide dog
Guide Dog Training begins July 2, 2012 in NY
Guide Dog by end of July 2012
Next eye surgery late 2012 or 2013 if I feel like it
Home with Guide dog - July 27, 2012
Knee Surgery #2 - Oct 15, 2012
Eye Surgery - Nov 2012
Lifes Adventures -  Priceless
