I went to the UFC fight with my boys tonight. There were a lot of celebrities there. Someone stopped me and wanted to take a picture with me. They thought I was Freddie Roach. lol. Like he would be sitting in the nosebleed seats.

My 8th grader's report card came. Straight A's, a 4.0 GPA. Very, very good as he is taking some honors classes which include 10th grade math. My oldest just received a letter asking him to join the National Honor Society because he is in the top of his class at Cal State Fullerton. We have not received any grades for my daughter yet but she entered UC Irvine as a sophomore because of all the AP classes she took in high school. I am so proud of them. Not only are they wicked smart but they are very loving, caring people. What a lucky dad I am to have such great kids. I have a lot to be thankful for. |

My poor dog is so confused! Because of the holiday my D schedule is different. He just doesn't know when to wake us up! Saturday, it goes back to normal, thank goodness!

I am still recovering from double ankle sprains (it just sounds so lame! I need an exotic hang gliding story or something adventurous!) It's been 4 days and today, for the first time I went out for a bit. I am now icing the right ankle as it is swollen again, so that tells me I need to continue to rest up. Anyone got a couple of good suggestions for on-line shopping sites for Christmas? I am feeling a little worried about getting it done and not creative at all!  |
