Weather:
Tuesday - 83 with chance of rain, rain expected till Wednesday and not sunny and dry till Thursday which will be 73 is their prediction. Monday is sunny though, but your not coming on that day are you.

Eye impairments and blindness in one eye began in 95, major one during visit to the Indy 500 race of that year
   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Diagnosed with ESRD June 29, 1999
1st Dialysis - July 4, 1999
Last Dialysis - December 2, 2000

Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - December 3, 2000

Cataract Surgery on good eye - June 24, 2009
Knee Surgery 2010
2011/2012 in process of getting a guide dog
Guide Dog Training begins July 2, 2012 in NY
Guide Dog by end of July 2012
Next eye surgery late 2012 or 2013 if I feel like it
Home with Guide dog - July 27, 2012
Knee Surgery #2 - Oct 15, 2012
Eye Surgery - Nov 2012

Right guys I need help packing my suitcase I am in a mini chaos while I try to figure what to take and how to get at all in my case and in what order??? I have one big case on wheels and 1 small cabin bag on wheels...
ANYONE got a tried and tested foolproof method???

How many shoes will I need in a week....  :Kit n Stik;

Yeah, set out everything you think you need - and only pack half of it!

Seriously - roll the clothes that might wrinkle.  Better yet, don't take a lot of natural fabrics.  Sorry to those who love their linen, but light weight poly knits rule for packing.  They can easily be rinsed and hung to dry overnight, too.  Think layers instead of separate pieces for varying temps.  Two thin sweaters that go over the top of each other are better than one bulky jacket. Try to pack so that everything matches - easier to dress for last minute changes of plans. Skip the cute, padded little bags for toiletries.  Ziplocs rule.  Get tiny bottles to label and fill with the things you have to have.  If you have older  underwear that you can pitch as you go, it's easier than wadding up the dirty ones to take home.

Shoes depend on activities.  Multi-purpose ones are best - not sneakers.  I like cute, comfy flats that can be dressed up with a skirt, don't look bad with casual pants, and don't kill my feet when walking.  I rarely take more than 1 extra pair - I hate dragging the extra weight.  But then, my last week-long trip, I only packed a single carry-on size bag.  I figure no one cares if I wear the same thing 3 times in a week!

I would not be best on how to pack, nor dress since I can wear a leather jacket when it's hot out and did at IHD meeting in 2008 so I have witnesses  :rofl; .
 
Packing, I try to be neat, but just end up squeezing t-shirts in on top of stuff that will wrinkle like dress shirts and pants.
 
My advice will not work for you. How many shoes does a guy need, 2 at most. Dress and or sneakers  ;D

GREAT day with my kids.  After church we had some hot dogs for lunch.  Then we went to my storage unit for a couple of hours and went through it.  I have been wanting to do it for a couple of months now.  I then cooked a couple of steaks on the BBQ.  I love being a dad!

I shredded old medical papers and bills from 2000 through 2004. Ended up with 5 recycling bags of shredded paper, papers showing cost of transplant and a stay a week after getting out. Also found some other interesting medical papers and papers for my old truck from when I bought it to service papers. So now I have pretty much 2 file cabinets to use.
 
So far weatheridiots have been wrong about weather. It has not rained in the 3 days they said it would. It was hot and sunny today.
 
And my dad liked his gag gift for once. A beer that has hios name on it I found shoppping. Not sure how this beer will taste, but I made out some of the german wordss on it.

I'M HERE ALRIGHT!!! Can you feel my presence?
Trying to raise the energy to shower and dress and go see the Hancock Building today
Flight was very smooth got in half an hour early !!! but immigration very foreboding asked me when I was going home before I had
stepped foot on American soil! Some welcome!
But loving all things American ....especially my hotel room on the 31st floor. Its like being in a movie with skyscrapers and sirens and breakfast delivered by trolley...
