Paris still tired, but now hacking and able to give a sample that I couldn't do in the hospital. However at times makes breathing hard. Went out to go to the pharmacy and store, got lightheaded and exhausted. I also found out I missed all the Girl Scout cookie selling events in my area due to being in the hospital, CRUD! Also lost my iPhone wall charger adapter and hospital can not find it in the wall or turned in, so have to buy another one when I get close to the Apple store next week.

I relate to the charger loss.  I lost my wall charger to the portable dvd player when I had the infusions.  I know it was in the wall plug, but no onw could find it.  I hate losing things or forgetting them in the hurry to leave the hospital.   It is always something, isn't it?

Beth and I head to Ohio in the morning.  Sunday is little Gracie's adoption shower.  Good way to see all the relatives at one time!  I am exhausted just getting ready for the trip.  It is about a 9 hour drive, but I am sure we can stretch it into 10 with many stops along the way.  We will stay with my sister for a few days, just to do some girly things together - shopping, scrapebooking, eating out.  Off to bed.   Hope everyone has a great weekend!!   :2thumbsup;

Have fun Paris, but boy what a long drive that sounds sore for sitting for long periods of time.

We are in Ohio. It is damp, cold and dreary.   But we are having a nice time.  The shower for Gracie was very nice and we got to visit with a lot of relatives we haven't seen for awhile.  Little Gracie bonded with Beth because Beth kept speaking French with her and Gracie got so excited.   Then we had dinner with my brother and his wife.  Today -- well, I am still in my pajamas (yes it is after 5pm!) Not doing anything. Just trying to recover from the drive up here.   Tomorrow we will spend the day in Amish country and remember that life can be simple and slower.

Chris, how are you doing today?   Did anyone find Girl Scout Cookies for you?

Hope everyone is having a good Monday    :2thumbsup;

Horrible Monday.  One of my buttonholes healed up over the weekend: had to really jab it to get it in.  with 2 minutes left my right leg cramped.  When the tech had me stand up my BP went down to 76/39.  I got dizzy and felt like I was going to  :puke; so I sat down.  I felt horrible sitting there dizzy and with my leg killing me.  I HATE DIALYSIS.

Lovely day with my sister and daughter in Amish country.  The farmers were out in the fields. Monday is laundry day and all the yards were full of clean clothes hanging.  We went to our favorite bakery and quilt shop.  Ended the day with dinner at a restaurant we use to go to with our Mom.  I now have all my cooking supplies re-stocked (best place to buy bulk everything).  And some treats for the grandkids.  Of course, lots of fabric and sewing accessories.  Fun day.  One more day till we head back to North Carolina.

I am trying to catch up with everyone here before I fall over from fatigue!   Don't we have an exhaustion smiley?       :rofl;

 :urcrazy; Went to transplant clinic and to pick up surgery packet from knee surgeon and both turned out to be a bad day to do things. However I visited Cariad for a bit on the hospital floor. They wouldn't let her go downstairs today though for some reason, but had a good chat in the lounge on her floor. She seems to be doing ok, but a little drained kinda look compared to our first meet. Then again she is having dialysis which just sucks the fun out of yah. I will probably visit her in the next few weeks, but tomorrow didn't sound like a good day with a full schedule of things they are going to do.

Anyway as for my clinic visit, they didn't have me in the computer for labs or an apointment for today or for this year. I showed them my appointment card and then I am told that my doctor doesn't even come on Tuesdays  :banghead; :urcrazy; ???   Then I said, "Then why have I seen her before on Tuesday's?" and the receptionist just says oh she's on maturnity leave now. OK then, so I was just deleated off the schedule and not told? Anyway, now I have the appointment rescheduled with some doctor I never heard of or seen a day before my knee surgery next month. Now on the the surgery packet I was to pick up. The surgery coordinator said she would have a packet ready when I came in today and picking it up at 9:30 would not be a problem. Apparently that was not true. She was paged several times and could not be found for several hours, so I went to my transplant center across the hall (which turned out ot be FUBAR of a situation). After the fiasco at my transplant clinic, I waited some more to get this darn packet. Turns out she waited till the last minute to put it together and didn't have the information I needed for transportation to get home afterwards since I have to do this myself and they won't allow me to go home alone on a bus or cab to the train station. :rant;  So if I can't get transportation home, no surgery because they don't want to hospitalize me, which just sound lazy to avoid insurance paperwork. To me I'd rather be hositalized for one day after this type of surgery due to all my medical issues, but that doesn't concern them.  :urcrazy;  She ended up apologizing profusely, then hugs me and that was really really really weird. For one I don't get hugged alot, it's feels uncomfortable to me, and why did she do it. ??? :urcrazy; :waiting; :stressed;

Then I saw cariad which was definitely a pleasant experience for the day.

Tomorrow another early day with the DXA body scan and bone specialist. I'm not a morning person!
