I've also got that huge yellow thing in the sky.  I'm going out in a few minutes for a walk - and I think I'm going to walk towards the light to gather information on it = UFO perhaps? It actually hurts my eyes to look out my window.    Down side - it is 4 degrees - but I still gotta walk the doggies.

Just another hamster on the dialysis W.O.F.

« Reply #21926 on: January 23, 2010, 10:48:35 AM »

      Good day everyone! :waving; I'm at another exciting day at dialysis. Doesn't it seem at times like you are always either going to it, or wating to go home from it or recovering from it all the time?  Well, guess I should be lucky I have something to do  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;
      Slywalker and Ylguy, it is called the sun. Glad you got to see it for a change. Marc maybe you can dry out. But don't "walk into the light", slywalker, please like you too much.
      Sorry no pj's for me today, just the "uniform" (jeans and sports shirt). Chris if you don't have pj's, wear what's comfortable. If your sleeping, you can go "indian style". Reference to how some native americans traditionally slept. You have to look that up, I'm not telling  :rofl; But it can get cold in winter.

Well, I feel cheated...no bright yellow thing in the sky here.  Foggy, damp, still had to slog through the cow crap to feed hay.  Wish it would dry out for just a few days, my boots are getting heavy!

I win!   Our whole family wins today.   :2thumbsup;     Gracie was on the plane from Haiti and is now in Orlando.  Customs and immigration will take hours but hopefully in the wee hours of tomorrow morning, Gracie will be in the arms of her Mommy, Katy.  Katy has been followed by CNN all day and we have seen her interviewed tonight.   Soledad O'Brien from CNN has been following Katy and Gracie's story for several days.  She has been a wonderful help in getting Gracie and 80+ orphans from the orphanage to their adoptive parents.    Our extended family is very grateful tonight.

One more step - the children are all still in immigrations.  Everything has to be perfect before they are released to the adoptive parents.  Gracie is running a fever and may have pnuemonia.  Katy is still waiting to see her. It has been a very long 24 hours.    We are all so very grateful Gracie and Katy are just a few rooms away from each other---and we know they will be together at any time.   Thanks everyone, for caring and letting me share  :2thumbsup;

Me again,   All but 10 children have been released to their adoptive parents.  Gracie is one of the ten.  Katy has been told they have taken the children to the hospital, but the hospital can't release any information to Katy --HIPPA laws.   Katy hasn't seen  Gracie yet.  24 hours --- and she still hasn't seen her.   CNN has been a great source of information and keep interviewing Katy.   More prayers for Gracie's health.  What a process this has been.
