I heard tonight on the local news. That only certain people will get the H1N1 vacine.  I was sure surprised.

Everyone 24 and under will get it
And 25 to 64 will get it if you have a medical condition. But no one 65 and old will not get the shot.

I can't believe that the elderly can not get it.

Looks like rationing to me.   I guess they are hoping that all the older people will get sick and die to help the Medicare out and help the health reform.

That is the biggest. BS. I have heard so far.  Even bigger that that stimulus package for the banks.

I still have to call my tx center to see if I should get it or just wait since it is so new and rushed through approval. Not enough testing done.

Good luck to you.    Hech.  Good luck to us all

We've been through the flu thing already and now they're telling us that it wasn't as bad as feared.  The reason the older people don't get it (here they said pretty much over 45 wouldn't) is cos they think it's a strain of the old big flu and older people have already built up an immunity to it.  Here it was all a big fuss over nothing.  In the end no one was more or less likely to die from it than the usual flue.

95% of all flu cases in our county are H1N1. Many school systems are shut down because of 2/3 absenteism.

Bad here!

If you know any other old people tell them to start dialysis real quick.  We will all get the Pig Flu shot (two of them) no mater age...   Well, maybe it'd be better to have flu than dialysis?

Hi,

Just popped in to say I am off and will visit again tomorrow.

And the "little man" eating through my insides (kidneys) are back. I am going to go home and have a very hot bath and have some pain meds and sleep for a bit.... because the pain is driving me up a wall.
