I miss you all so much!   After reading a few posts yesterday, one especially by Kickstart, I realized it probably is my lack of food, especially protein that is making me so down.  I literally have not been eating.  So, Beth went to the store yesterday and bought some easy to eat things that have protein, I don't have to make and might tempt me to eat. I have really been trying today. An egg, some cheese.  Nothing tastes good and I never have the hunger sensation. I have dropped 15 pounds the past month.    So, I will try to be better.  Thanks for all your support.  Love you guys   :cuddle;   :cuddle;

Keep at it, Paris.  I know it is hard to eat when you aren't hungry, but JUST DO IT!   :cuddle;

How about protein shakes Paris? Such as from Carnation Instant Breakfast, the dreaded Ensure with High Protein? Just sip a little each time through a straw.

Sorry I don't own a chocolate factory, I ould come up with a protein added chocolate bar. ;D

Careful with those ice cream truck drives... I saw a Law and Order once about ice cream trucks and kids.

Whew! Tuckered out by all this cleaning. But zeroing in on being ready for our Solstice party tomorrow. Y'all come!  :clap;

We are keeping Willow up late tonight so she can see fireflies, something she is not familiar with! Either they never let her stay up late, or there aren't fireflies in the Berkshires!  :rofl;

Heard from my daughter that little Wren looks around whenever they say anything about Grandmom or Granddad, she looks all around for us.  :2thumbsup;

They will be here sometime tomorrow evening, hopefully in time for the party!  :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Life is good.

Speaking of zeroing in, I forgot to get a Zero candy bar. Forgot to even look for it. I did get some ice cream though. 2 for $4.00 from Walgreens Ice Cream. Not the best ice cream, but something. I got banana split and a strawberry cheesecake that has no pie crust. So how is that a cheesecake? ???

2 ice creams of different flavos and you feel sick?  Is that a bit like mixing scotch and vodka?

Hmm, never tried scotch, will have to sometime. Vodka I'm familiar with. The ice cream had an hour break between the two. I need some chocolate now though.

What is a Solstice party?

Hi, David.

The summer solstice is the longest day of the year. Tomorrow is not actually the Solstice, but it is close enough.

I have a huge group of friends who have been celebrating the solstices for many years. Another family used to have the Summer Solstice party, but for the past couple of years they have been unable to do so. Since we have a pool and a big back yard for bocce and badminton, it has fallen to us. Except for having enough chairs and tables and plates and the like, it is pot luck. I always fix a huge batch of bean burritos (doesn't sound that exciting, but I have my secrets), and lots of other food arrives with all the people who come. We have a screened in porch and a deck (both of which Carl built after he put in the pool).

I stock up on bubble blow and other activities for the kids. It is a great blast. The party was planned long before I knew that my granddaughter would be visiting and her parents would be arriving that day. Just go with the flow.

Go with the flow.

Dan,

How are you feeling tonight? Is your arm any better?

Chris,

When I was in Gatlinburg yesterday I saw a sign for Blue Belle ice cream. I thought of you and Twirl!

Aleta, this end of 9 weeks of dialysis was the worse day of all.  Arm is not hurting now and I took the bandage off but I still have cramps in  my stomach and legs on the right side.  Any tricks?

I had Haagendas ice cream for a change.  Blue Bell doesn't have rum raisin.  If this cramp doesn't stop I'm going to have some rum without the raisins or the cream.

Dan, I like that Rum rasin Ice Cream to, but wasn't onsale at the grocery store when I picked up my prescriptions. AT $5.00 for a small container, I could have gotten a half gallon tub of Edy's/Dryers (epends on your location) for $3.99, but harder to ghid evidence in a short amount of time.  ;D
