The IM's is if you put your user name in when you edit your account. You can use either AIM,MSN, Yahoo, and I think ICQ. Been awhile since I looked.

With Yahoo and MSN it doesn't matter anymore because you can talk with each other with two different mail accounts. So if you have yahoo and your friend has hotmail, msn, or live, you can talk with each other by adding each other.

Are you saying that I can IM on IHD if I put Yahoo, etc. addresses in my id? Or are you say I can use Yahoo, etc. directly?

You have to have AIM or Yahoo and sign on there. Do you have either one?

yes. and then I can IM people on IHD?
I just drove to Walgreen to get my Renal Vitamins... I didn't get them. They were 77 dollars for one month supply. Insurance does pay anything either. Ok, so I'll eat fish or something.
Anyway, the bank on the corner's sign said 100 degrees here at 4:30. Thank goodness there's cold front coming tomorrw down to 96. I can hardly wait.

Yahoo will send a request to that person first if they have that IM. You can tell which IM they have by the company logo symbol below their profile picture to the left of this thread. For Yahoo it is a smiley face. If the eyes are shut and the mouth is straight, that means they are offline.
